Mathilde Kralik

1857 - 1944

Also known as Kralike, von Kralik(e), and Kralik von Mayerswalden (Meyrswalden), Mathilde Kralik was born in Austria and studied piano with Julius Epstein and counterpoint with Anton Bruckner in Vienna. She later studied composition with Fran Krenn at the Vienna Conservatory. She composed for the Women's Choral Society in Vienna and remained active as a composer for several decades.
