Alba Trissina
b. fl. 1622
A nun at the monastery of Araceli in Venice, Trissina studied with Leone Eloni. All of her known compositions are written for alto voice. She wrote in a style typical of the Veneto in the 1620s. For further information, see "Women Composers: Music Through the Ages," volume I. HPC #09862.
